The pocket

Scrub Hug has a large front pocket — big enough to hold a handwritten note, a small photo, or a tiny keepsake. It's intentional. A place for something from someone who loves you. A way to carry connection even when you can't be together.

The color

The soft teal tone is inspired by medical scrubs and intentionally chosen for its calming, grounding quality. It creates a sense of quiet reassurance — steady, familiar, and comforting.

The expression

Scrub Hug's face is purposefully simple, gentle and neutral, so it doesn't tell a child how to feel. It simply meets them where they are, offering quiet presence rather than a prescribed emotion.

The heart

The red heart tucked into the small pocket is made from organic cotton velour — soft and tactile by design. Something for a child's hands to find and hold for soothing. It's attached by a ribbon so it stays safe and can't be lost.
