Scrub Hug is a soft comfort companion inspired by the look and color of medical scrubs. It includes a large front pocket designed to hold a note, photo, or keepsake — a physical bridge between a child and someone they love, or a place to tuck something meaningful during a difficult stay.

Made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton with organic kapok filling, certified organic dyes, and no chemical treatments. EN71 and ASTM safety tested. Safe from birth.

Comfort & Connection Cards for children receiving medical care.

We've developed a set of Comfort Cards designed specifically for use with children receiving care in hospitals and clinical settings — addressing fear, pain, loneliness, anger, and medical team reframing, with blank cards for specialist customization. The Comfort Cards were developed with a child psychologist and will be available as a standalone product for care settings in Phase 2.

The Connection Cards are also available in a version uniquely tailored for children in care settings, with prompts designed for hospital stays, procedures, and time away from home. One set is for a parent, caregiver, nurse, or Child Life specialist to write and tuck into Scrub Hug's pocket, so a child always has something from someone who loves them close by. The other is for a child to fill out and give to anyone caring for them or anyone they're missing. Each set includes pre-printed prompts as well as blank cards for specialist customization.

Hospitals and clinical environments can be unfamiliar and overwhelming for children. Even when care is excellent, the experience of being in a medical setting can bring fear, uncertainty, and separation from what feels safe.

Our long-term vision is to partner with hospitals, Child Life teams, and pediatric programs to place Scrub Hug into the hands of children receiving care — as a gentle, familiar presence during procedures, overnight stays, and times when reassurance matters most. Not as a novelty. But as a thoughtfully designed comfort tool that supports emotional well-being alongside medical care.

We are intentionally starting small, with one product and one community, built carefully.
